when DS was abt 2 and half yr old, he was looked after by my parents. As DH and I had to work, and my parents are old, so most of the time DS will be home.

DS will think of ways to get the keys in order to open the gate to get out of the house.

First, he used chairs and tables. so we kept them.
Second, he used pails, make it up-side-down and climb on it. so we kept them.
third, he used newpapers, pile them up and climb on it :!:

Now, his height is at 110cm for a 4yr old boy, and is able to reach the keys cupboard easily.
When asked to help to bring the keys, he will lie down on the floor.
Me: u used to love to think of ways to get the keys, why are u on the floor?
DS: so that i can be baby again and it is fun to see the surprise face u all gave me 😐

What a smart boy !!

When i hand-wash my clothes, I have the habit of throwing the basin of laundry water into the toilet bowl. Once I was handwashing my 4-yr-old’s bright red dress, the colour runs and when I flushed the toilet with the water, it leaves a pretty bright pink in the toilet bowl.

When DS woke up from her nap, & was using the toilet, she noticed it straightaway. "Why is the toilet bowl water pink, mummy?". I answered "because i was washing your red dress".

She considered that for a moment and kept quiet. It was only later that night when she finally asked what might have been bugging her that few hours…

"Mummy, why did you wash my favourite red dress in the toilet bowl?"

I was sitting next to son when he was revising some notes for next week's exam.

Out of the blue, he lifted out his elastic pants and reached his hands out to under-neath the pants. He kept on fidgeting and adjusting his undies.....
I felt curious why he did not stop doing that action after couple of minutes , he blurted out :\" aiyo...no wonder...why like got something keeps on dangaling out....my underwear got one big hole mummy....\"

Then his younger sister heard both our giggles....quickly dropped her toys and popped over :\" I want to see... I want to see, what's so funnie gor gor ?\"..... :imanangel:
