Hi all,


for me, I will choose 损伤眼睛rather than 损伤心灵.
for 心灵,the correct word to use should be 伤害.

Pls advise answer key’s answer.

I am not strong in this area, my gut feel :
1) 损害眼睛
2) 损伤心灵

What's the answer key says ?

Not sure....but I'll go for this....
1) 损伤眼睛
2) 创伤的心灵

Well, I do not have the answer yet as this is a question in my son’s exam yesterday. It is actually an mcq with 4 answers but the other 2 are totally wrong, only these 2 sound right. Btw the 2nd answer is something like 老师的话损伤了她的心灵。DS said this phrase appears in his P5 textbook and is related to a topic about eyes.

Yup, the word 损伤is from chapter 7 of P5A Higher Chinese textbook. This chapter can be found in Normal Chinese too. The whole sentence from higher chinese text is 因此,每次视力检查,听到其他同伴抱怨主人损伤它们时,我就觉得自己很幸运. in this context, "它们"refer to the eyes.

As such, answer should be 损伤眼睛.

That’s right, snowcloud. But I think 损伤心灵 also sounds right, that’s why I m seeking views in this forum.

I would appreciate any sharing of good methods and resources(reference books/assessment books/sites) to brush up on 虚词 ?

Reading chinese books - yes but need a more focus and speedier method
Resources - have checked popular and seen the SAP booklet but need better & more.

Hi Brenda/Mummies with P6 children,

Can you advise if this handbook is useful for P6 ?
I get this handbook every year...so wondering if I should continue to get for P6 or is there any particular title which includes from maybe P1-6.

损害 comes from P5A textbook...I believe it's from the chapter 给小主人的信.
