Anybody know out of the 65 who registered in Ai Tong under Phase 2B, how many are PV, grassroots and clan-recommended. Trying to guage how many letters which SHHK issued out for Ai Tong this year. Thanks.

Don't think such info is available, unless one works at AiTong or SHHK.

I am not surprised if SHHK had issued many letters this year, but ultimately, it only allows one to be qualified under Phase 2B - that's all.
The crux of the matter would still be distance (<1km> 2 km).

The onus is on the person as the Citizen to ensure that he is truthful in declaring his home address. If not caught, no big deal. If caught, he will be convicted in a court of law... no such excuse like he didn't know about it. That's how the law works for everything else too.

Not sure if anyone know the minimum membership tensure to get the recommendation letter from SHHK to get into 2B for Ai Tong this year?

That's right. It's not a first-come-first-serve case for Phase 2C and Phase 2CS.

Hi, I’m new to this forum and just done with phase 2B registration for my son. I’m within 1 km to both Aitong and Catholic High, and am catholic and PV for Aitong, so had the chance to decide between these 2 schools.

Made a painful decision on Tues to give up CHS for a guaranteed place at Aitong. I all along wanted CHS cos i have 3 boys and its a full sch, but dun dare to take the risk of balloting and giving up sure place at Aitong.
Have been having sleepless nights and wondering whether i did the right thing.
Can anyone out there give me some reassurance and what would you have done in my shoes??

hi mumto3boys, i’ve registered under phase 2B and r now fretting and stress up with the ballotting tml. If i were u, i would have done the same thing too. At least you have confirmed a place for your boy. Both schools are good so no regrets. Unlike me…cannot sleep at all!
