I realised recently that the water my family drinks comes from PUB pipes but the water we shower comes from our spare tank. Heng not the other way round. πŸ˜‰

Why heng? When you shower, just make sure you don't look up at the ceiling then you'll be alright (think this was a scene from a horror movie). :siam:

Ermm, you mean creepy crawlies creeping out from the tank and through the false ceiling when I look up? :scared: :nailbite: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
:whut: U mean when shower have to keep looking upwards for :scratchhead: ....good for clearing nosey blockage πŸ¦†

The fella must be a worker who had access up there..

he is the cleaner but it was revealed that only the manager and supervisor of the cleaning co has the key to access the rooftop. It was also reported that many maids and bangladeshi workers were seen going up the highest floor very often and the residents there suspect some hankpanky there.

Woodland case not as bad as the Johor case ...... :yikes: :yikes:

Dead woman found in Johor water tank
RESIDENTS of a Johor apartment block found a dead body in the block's water tank on Monday, after they complained of a reddish tint and foul odour emitting from their running taps.

The corpse found in the tank has been identified as that of Ms Zhong Yufang, 19. She is believed to have drowned after she fell into the tank six days ago.

The tank is located on the ground floor of a five-storey, walk-up apartment at First Garden estate in Pontian, about 60km north-west of Johor Baru.

Preliminary police investigations found that Ms Zhong had gone to visit her 70-year-old father on the second storey of the block last Wednesday. She somehow slipped and fell through a roof covering the water tank room.

At around noon that day, a neighbour living on the same storey heard a loud 'thud' and saw a huge hole in the roof of the water tank room, but he did not tell anyone about it as he did not see anything unusual, police said.

Over the weekend, residents started to complain that water from the tank was emitting a foul smell. At around 4pm on Monday, a resident went into the water tank room and found a decaying, female corpse floating in the water. Neighbours say Ms Zhong lived elsewhere with her mother and siblings and regularly visited her old father.

:yikes: OMG....times like this I must give credit to the citizens/residents of Singapore...

We, the citizen/resident of Singapore, pledged ourselves as one united people, to know how to complain earlier so as to avoid an even more gross situation than it already is......

My 1st thought was... why did ST report this Johor case together with the SG case?
To tell ppl SG case is not as bad?
To play down this SG case?
To tell ppl it's a honest mistake... move on..
I'm sure no one is held accountable for this... as usual...

I read both news were on the same page of one of the chinese papers, maid one on top; the JB one below...and I recall reading that the JB residents drank and used the water for 3 days vs SG only 4 hours.

Yes, unfortunately, I do agree that no one will be held accountable - no heads will roll.
