2. Since we're looking at Phase 2B at CHIJ TPY, we're going to need the Baptism cert. Anybody has any idea whose baptism cert needed on the registration process? Mine, my hubby, or my DD? Should it be in English too? I think our baptism cert have latin and a little bahasa indonesia on it.

Your parish priest in Singapore should also be able to verify and confirm in writing the Indonesian baptism. His letter is supporting evidence for the Indonesian baptism.

pls give advise:

I’m staying just behind Punggol Pri, and also within 1km from CHIJ OLN. Am considering this 2 schools. I have 3 GIRLS

My thoughts over past 6 mths and yet can’t decide:
1) both academic equal standard
2) CHIJ have afflilated sec and is girl school
3) sorting distance and logistic
4) BFSC/AFSC sorting and finding
5) School bus cost if enrol in chij oln
6) Pri 3 … cca increasing

pls kindly advise:)

Hi all

there are eight primary schools who will be pilotting the P1 online registration. i stay in Sengkang, Nan Chiau, Anchor Green and North Vista are some of them...Beacon also, the rest can't remember, but some schools have been given the new P1 registration booklet. But as for myself, I still choose the old way. :imcool:

just my half cent worth of input,

i would chose chij cos it is affliated to the secondary school which usually has lower cop for its primary school students.

if possible, train the older girl to take the public bus and when younger one is in school, both can take the public bus together (like some of dd's classmates and their siblings) and since you live within 1km, is it okay for them to walk to school themselves?

put them into the same ccas if possible.


bfsc and afsc, dont have the use for them so no comments.

however, if both are good schools, it is better to keep an eye on the no. of vacancies available during the p1 reg and decide. cos if pp doesnt need balloting for within 1km and chij does, then maybe pp is a better choice.

I believe it's from the booklet thingy... just saw it... believe the schs are distributing to all the K2 classes.
