SHHK will only know how many spaces left after 2A2 - from there, they will determine how many letters they can give mah.

PV, clan members AND grassroots all fall under Phase2B. All have equal standing. ONly advantage is that once you complete the said hours, you know you are entitled the letter. But then, there is no guarantee you can complete those hours (must have enough activities).

Has any parents received any updates from Ai Tong yet on the PV programme starting July 2011? I have signed up since Dec 2010, and have not heard anything back from them. Called the admin, but they said we will probably be notified only end June IF we are selected. Is it so late? I know of other schools who are holding their PV briefing this week…

and then it also depends on which department you are sent to if you are selected. Different dept got different starting pv dates.

Would like to hear from parent with P1 in Ai Tong in year 2011, does the school (Ai Tong) teach HYPY from scratch for P1 student? Or do the school just go through briefly, expecting student already know that before they enter P1? TIA

My boy will be going to P1 next year. Quit confused which to go?

Is distance an issue? I m currently reside in Tampines. My girl is in PoiChing P5 this year. But my husband wants to register my boy in AiTong as I m the ex-ATS. But I m afraid that the distance will tired him although I will be fetching him.

Pse advise.

Poi Ching is also a gd school. If i were you, i will stick to Poi Ching then. For me, I am abit stuck like you too. I am ex ATS and my gal is P1 nxt year. I will be shifting to the East (quite near to you) in around November. So now I am deciding should i let my gal go for ATS? Alot of pple say it is a waste to give up but i scared it will tire her. I check school bus, the operator told me pick up ard 11 and reach home btw 7.30-8pm. If i give up, i will have to go for any normal neighbourhood school which not even have Poi Ching standard.

KWDmum, maybe you shld do a car pool for me then if you put yr son in ATS. haha.
