TIPS 8 FOR ALL - BODMAS


Students who apply arithmetics without taking into account the rules of BODMAS are prone to “careless” mistakes.

Thanks! I loved your tips. Anyway what does BODMAS stands for?

B Brackets first
O Orders (ie Powers and Square Roots, etc.)
DM Division and Multiplication (left-to-right)
AS Addition and Subtraction (left-to-right)

Had been busy lately, haven’t got chance to checkout this space. Ok, if you read step 1, it says a=b. This would mean a2 = ab. Consequently, a2 - ab = 0. It is erroneous to divide by zero.
