If you have an iPad and do not mind reading from it, you can get the whole series for lass than US$5. I bought it end of last year from the Apps store.
Thanks Trapwithin. I don't have an iPad. :oops:phankao:
Thanks Brenda. Your dd can read very fast. For my ds, he takes quite long to finish chinese books. I think I shall check out Dangdang and get some in for dec holidays reading.
The 老猫 is very thin book though. -
Jst to update my progress… DD has completed book1 (20 chinese words) from basic chinese book, will proceed to book 2. i find the book is great. we jst take 10 minutes daily to go through from first words to 20th words daily… now, she is good with all the words and can read the whole sentences, we will proceed to book2.

Hi, some update:Hi, recd today the 宫崎骏作品全辑 (收藏经典), 12 DVD this morning and now dd is watching the show. The picture is very clear and wonderful. Their mandarin are also very clear and easy to understand without the CL subtitle. DD is still exploring how to select CL subtitle.
Haha. Good entertainment for this school holiday lah. :dancing:
Seems that we don't have the option to select the subtitle or dialogue. The following is the finding after watching a few show:
Two don't have subtitle at all
One with CL fan ti zi
One with Jpn dialogue but with CL jian ti zi
Nevertheless, the show are still interesting. -

Hi, just return some 陆小风 comics and seems that dd and my nephew like them so much
It bring back the nice memory of 四条眉毛, 西门吹雪, 花满楼 etc  -
I like the new SWKD storybook. I just bought from sgshine(local) since I only I only wanted this book. Stories very short. Words not difficult at all. Superb for my 2year old! Are the SWKD levels 5 or 6 more difficult than the stories in this book?

My ordered SWKD storybook have not come in yet leh. So I don't know how different as compared to level 5-7. Maybe I will scan a few pages of level 5 - 7 and you see if there is any difference in diffciluty level?
I hope there are differences, coz both my DS almost completed book 7 and they loved SWKD alot. Everynight sure ask for it.
