This is more kancheong than stock market movements ! I think all schools should follow MSHS, provide live updates for parents to assess situation....save time and resources as well as the school admin staff do not need to answer so many calls from anxious parents if they provide such info on line.

I fully support that :goodpost: But I think MOE will have to make the call. MSHS has shown the way and indeed, it will save so many parents' time and spare the schools' staff from answering so many calls... This is what I call a win-win situation :rahrah:

And also spare parents from rude staff (like at DLS). 😛

At Phase 2A(2) is not like fish market business so brisk. Phase 2C is like Great Singapore Sale style, so the pattern of the staff maybe different.

Guess tomorrow can decide which schools for those more than 1Km can say bye bye. This is good where parents can activiate thier Plan B or Plan C.

I refer to the lady who answers the phone. I have personally not called them but based on unanimous feedback from the mommies who did (over the years), I would presume she is. You can check out the \"feedback\" at the CCK schs thread.

Yes, I have read them too. Perhaps we should specify that the lady that answer calls is rude (probably out of frustration) 😉 Otherwise, it would appear that all the (office) staff at DLS are rude which may not be fair to them. Just to share my thought.

I think we have to understand that it can be quite stressful for the staff when they have to entertain so many calls. One of my friend, was so kan cheong that he called up the school for a few times in a day. So can you imagine that multiplied by x no of parents…

I really feel for you guys - wish you all the best…

Thanks bzimum! It will definitely be useful... to those parents eyeing St Margaret's, as well as to the poor receptionists having to answer the telephone non-stop!
