Hmm... are the staff at DLS really so bad :? When I was there to do P1 registration under 2A2, the staff that attended to me seemed quite friendly and helpful...

I refer to the lady who answers the phone. I have personally not called them but based on unanimous feedback from the mommies who did (over the years), I would presume she is. You can check out the \"feedback\" at the CCK schs thread.

Yes, I have read them too. Perhaps we should specify that the lady that answer calls is rude (probably out of frustration) 😉 Otherwise, it would appear that all the (office) staff at DLS are rude which may not be fair to them. Just to share my thought.

I think we have to understand that it can be quite stressful for the staff when they have to entertain so many calls. One of my friend, was so kan cheong that he called up the school for a few times in a day. So can you imagine that multiplied by x no of parents…

I really feel for you guys - wish you all the best…

Thanks bzimum! It will definitely be useful... to those parents eyeing St Margaret's, as well as to the poor receptionists having to answer the telephone non-stop!

Checked with SCGS and this year have 55 vacancies for Phase 2C and today already 61 applications but 54 within 1 km! Looks like this year even within 1 km also need to ballot! Going to break the P1 Registration record for SCGS where historically within 1 km is always 100% safe. :x

There was balloting within 1km a few years ago. And it came close to balloting one year before that too.
