My Girl- 7Yrs- losing her hair SOS
-
Is she under alot of stress? Maybe she cannot adjust to Pri 1? My sis started losing lots of hair when she was studying abroad during her Uni days until we had to buy her a wig to wear during lectures.
I think it was because of the stress she was undergoing and also she told us that she used to lie on the carpet in the student apartment, so probably carpet was dirty. She consulted doctor (couldn’t remember whether she had any jabs) and within a few months, her hair started to grow again.
I will check with my sis later and let you know. -

Yes J & J is good. My DD is 9 years old and still using J & J shampoo.emerald:
I experimented with a few shampoo brands and finally settled for one when I noticed some improvement.
Hi emerald can I ask you what shampoo is that? I think I might switch back to J & J baby shampoo -

Ye can be stress... more work load/ homework/...when she started the p1. change of env. and friends. she is getting better now/ I see her everyday and now I am used to it.... -
It could be due to Alopecia Areata. My boy (P3) has his hair falling rapidly after a fall at an escalator. In less than a month, he dropped close to 60% of his hair. We saw a dermatologist and was told to wait for hair to finish dropping and start medication later. All in all, it took about 3 months for his hair to complete the dropping process and 2 months for it to grow back. Now, his hair are thicker and denser than before. It’s like a carpet on his head!!! Process was not fun but certainly glad that all is over for now.
Patience is needed. Hang in there, friends.
