I am curious, is the textbook used by child in school important? Which Maths textbook is better?

I was told 'Shaping Maths' is better than 'My Pals'...anyway, same publisher.

I bought the \"Shaping Maths\" from a mummy in this forum since last year for DD1. I find that for eg the P3 topic on \"Fraction\" - Shaping Maths explained the concept of \"which fraction is bigger - 1/2 or 3/4\" in e \"brick\" form, which my DD1 finds it easier to understand.

This is just my personal view - for sharing purpose
