2011 P1 Registration Exercise for 2012 In-Take
-
Dear Mummies/Daddies,
I would like to enquire something.
If iām applying through Phase 2A2 as my hubby is an old boy in St. Gabriels, but he had lost his PSLE result and report book, is it still possible to register at this Phase???
Please advice. Super panicking now. -
poppy15, like you, i also feel the HEAT on, esp. for those heading for schools that got DECREASE of 1 or 2 classes, assuming 30 pupils per P1 class.

bigD, any idea why there is a decrease of 1 class for RGPS, or for those schools that got decrease ?
I also don't understand the rationale for this. BT has only 6 pri schs, and they decided to reduce intake for 3 of them w/o compensating with any increase for the other 3. Additionally, there's lots of residential properties mushrooming around that area so it just gets so unnecessarily competitive this yr. -
Hi,
Reading this thread also make me really kan cheong.
Would like to ask, do you need to prepare a copy of all the documents requested for the registration or the school will photocopy if they require? Just bring originals will do?

Read CNA news...MOE mentioned the 2012 cohort is same as 2011 (ie this year's P1). Figured that even with upgrading to go single session, there is a limit that schools can expand.
3 schools in BT will be reducing 1 class for this year's registration. I can imagine the added stress of those in P2C. -

No experience but maybe you can call up the school to check if they still have records of your dh? They may keep the records, so no harm trying.Dear Mummies/Daddies,

in fact you should have many sets of photocopy at home, on file, as you will need them now and then
or scan pdf copy, put it on hard disk and deposit it in some email account and it could be retrieved anywhere around the world. -

Try calling MOE. A friend of mine also experienced this. Managed to get a duplicate copy of some cert to qualify under 2A2. Paid $10 or something like that.
