                hi mummies & daddies here,

was into baking recently & was wondering

                1) when the recipe mention beat till light & fluffy, usually hw long this takes & on what speed of the beater we used?

                2) if we used whipped cream (those directly from cans) do we still whipped them in the mixer?

sorry, am a blur sotong here.

                  poppy,

                  1) im still L-plate but i usually beat the egg+sugar+butter (i assume u r talking abt cookies) till the batter is pale and the consistency is like yoghurt. i beat by hand like 8-10 min (depending on my arm-power on that day of course), i read fm books/net, u shd beat on low for like 2 min when all incorporated, than switch to high speed till the batter is pale.

                  2) if i use whipped cream (for cake, i supposed), i juz fold-in to the mixture.

not sure if i m doing these right, but my cake and cookies turn out ok, so i think to a certain extend im not very far from right šŸ˜“

                  hope these help
