But Happy Mama, as i said, even if the above health benefits are true, it has to be consumed at 2-4 grams per days for at least 1-2 months. Boiling a few worms and eat it once a month won't have the intended benefits.

Moreover, these health benefits can be achieved with other herbs with a much lower and affordable price. Benefits like better immune system, strengthened heart liver etc...built stamina etc...are common also with other food and herbs. I wonder why must use such expensive cordyceps.

Due to being down with cough and runny nose problems frequently, it is not wise to be constantly consuming the western medicine as they do not treat but rely on the body for recovery, simply taking symptoms away. So going natural is probably the best way. Things like manuka honey, birds' nest and cordyceps can help and after a period of consumption, if the immunity is built up, then if we do the sums, the expense on doctor's visit is definitely costing more in the long run than to invest in such health tonics which can strengthen the body with consistent consumption for a period of time. Actually a doctor's visit can come up to $80-100+ with lots of medication and nebulisers per visit. 4 visits will average to $400 so why not spend on building the body? Have tried multivits and vitamins but they do not seem to work. I suppose it also depends on the body, what it can absorb.

Hi. I understand what you are trying to say. I am refering to other appropriate natural herbal remedy other than cordyceps. As you can see, for cordyceps, to achieve the intended benefits or may not even achieve, you may easily need to spend over $2000 a month. As I said, there may be many other herbs that is suitable that we do not know yet.

Personally, after going out of the box, and started doing my own research, I found some herb outside the traditional chinese herbal system that cured myself of chronic bronchitis ,frequent running nose and flu-like symptoms.

Try looking at this African herb called Pelargonium Sedoides. I was cured of chronic bronchitis by this. And yes...cordyceps and ginseng didn't help me much. this herbs is very effective for cold also.

There's another type of cultured cordyceps, much cheaper, it is cordyceps militaris (cultured without the insect, only use the spores). Taste wise ok. Only $15, not sure if it's nutrient can match those grown fm the insect, but for soup, I think it's ok.

Never heard of cultured cordyceps before. You bought it from SGP medical hall?

              true in a way......cordyceps are not δ»™δΈΉ πŸ˜‰
needs to be consumed on a \"more regular basis\" to reap the benefits, not juz once or twice ........
