          Hi mama_10

For Q4, MD would be a neat way.

There are two scenarios, before and after.

Q2 is a similar type of question to Q4.

          Hope this helps.

          Best wishes

Could any of the Maths Gurus here kindly help me on this P3 question?

A large container with a capacity of 20 litres is used to contain honey. Each day, a worker will pour in 5 litre of honey but a thief will steal 2 litre of honey. On which day will the large container be filled?

My son’s answer is day 7, but the answer sheet shows day 6.

Would be greatful for any kind explaination to this question. Thanks

                    Hi,

The answer is 6 days because on the 6th day when the worker pours in the 5 litres, the container is already filled before 2 litres get stolen.
