Can anyone tell me Rosyth and Zhonghua Primary school, which is good.

Put it this way, Rosyth usually goes in balloting in Phase 2B of registration, Zhonghua usually has places left for Phase 2C supplementary.

Having said that, some say that Rosyth is a bit of a hothouse academically so you need to think about whether your child will be able to handle that kind of environment.

Assuming you live around there, have you thought about Yangzheng?

Hi, what is the chances of getting in to Rosyth if we are under the phase 2B less than 1 km catergory? Since the intake has dropped from 330 to 300 and 165 places have been taken up for phase 1 as compared to 137 in 2010 registration. Chances of balloting for <1km (phase 2b)?

Looking at the history, I would say that there this quite a high chance of it going to balloting. If it does, it will only be marginal so your chances of getting in will be very high but still a risk.

oh!! Yangzheng left about 92 slots . I m registering my girl for Yangzheng at phrase 2C this year.I stay within 1 km. Initially, I m quite confident that my girl will get in. But Looking at the number made me worried. The total number of vacancy has reduced by 30 to 180. Now left with 92 for 2A,2B and 2C.

Anyone call up the school to find out or can share the likely take up rate for 2A and 2B ?

Yah i think based on history, Rosyth Phase 2C requires balloting, even for those within 1km.

If you are old gal from Ai Tong you will be under Phase 2A2, unless you join their alumni (sometimes have to pay membership fees), then you will be 2A1. 2A2 only need to produce report card to prove you are from there.
