I mean if I fail to get my 1st choice after balloting for phase 2C, I need to go for phase 2C supplementary.

So for Phase2C supplementary, does it work the same? Does it go by distant if the seats are lesser than the children apply?

2C 100 VACANCIES 150 REGISTERED. SCHOOL WILL INFORM THOSE THAT IS MORE THAT 1KM TO WITHDRWA. IF HAPPEN ONLY 30 IS MORE THAN IKM THAT BAL 120 WHICH IS WITHIN 1KM STILL NEED BALLOTING

For my case, what i do is i waited until the last day then register because MOE website will be updated around 8pm second last day. then you have to calculate all the vacancies in area. then chose one that is no so crowded yet you have a higher chance of going in, instead of going balloting then wait for 2c supplementary what happen those rejected in 2c their distance is within 1-2km yours in further, you loose out again, finally landed in a school of not your choice lagi worst

I have written in to apply PV some time back and recently the school finally responded and gave me a reference number for future communication purpose. Good news or bad news for me?

Does it mean the school has accepted my application and now I just need to wait for them to assign me the PV task?? or it is just simply an acknowledgement of their receipt of my application email?

That school given u a no for PV does not mean u are part of PV. They will arrange to fill PV form and will conduct interview with u.

Final they will inform via e-mail, that final result and total selected PV for that year.

Thanks guys… no wonder people all say the whole process can be even more taxing than job hunting… but I’ve decided not let myself be drawn into this. Whichever school my kids ends up with, my love and support for them will never change.

anyone did PV for Nanyang Pri? heard tat the criteria is high…like applying for a Manager’s post when ur exec level nw…v difficult?

do you mind if i ask what school is that also when is your sometime back which year is your kid going to be register for pri one this is essential info
