har? Your girl knows what is happening har? My son is very playful & I not sure whether the K2 teacher got brief them what is P1 or not.
Last few days when I visited my friend, I saw her daughter was practicing Chinese spelling (K2), guess what? She was writing "Crab" mean "pang xie" in Chinese. My eyes really dropping as i think it is too difficult for a K2 student. How you think? Or u thinks this is quite easy for K2 as your kid also doing the same thing? I really puzzle.
As my son childcare centre does not have any test, so I don know whether my son is doing well or not. I got ask the teacher and they always said he is doing well. Of course I don have so thick face to ask βwhat if compare with others?β -

My girl's kindergarten also do not have spelling or \"ting xie\". I have asked her teacher, why no spelling or \"ting xie\"? Her answer to me is their approach is \"learn through play\". They should learn to read rather than write at this stage....And they said children graduated from the school have no problem coping with P1. Think should be fine....har? KP:
KP, that's my observation too...and am really worried abt completing required hours.I have started my PV assignment with SV..
Few observations:
(1) Too many PV, but too few assignments.
Almost impossible to clock on average 4 hours/mth, to meet 40hours by June 2010.
(2) Have spoken to the other PV, and some of them are not Singaporean.
Guess there is no restriction on Phase 2B PV nationality..
And ya, just as i thought abt nationality..PR can also PV. Sigh...i just feel citizens shld be given priority. Esp those PR who has one parent staying at home....they have added advantage.
