CHC123:
I have 3 kids and is full time working mum. They are 9,8 and 6 and are in elite primary school. I always reach home at 7plus and only have 1 hr to sit down with them and only 3 times a week on weekday to go through their work with them which is not enough. As my second one boy now P2 result not very good and having problems with him. Can any one give me any advise? My HB is always very busy and i am the only one know what's going on about their school work. As for weekend, they are having tuition, piano, drawing and swimming and time is limited as i don't drive and take public transport.
Welcome CHC123!! Sorry i can't offer any advise since none of my kids are at tat stage here.. But m sure the other mummies can offer u better advise..

hi chc123,
can empathise even though i am not working outside. it’s tough indeed. my dh doesn’t know what’s going on with the kids’ school work too. usually the moms are the ones huh? but i do make him go for each kid’s PTM so at least he knows how they fare in school and what they do.
i ever met a parent (dad) in my ds1’s school general office. the teacher called to meet the child’s parent so he turned up, but when the gen office staff asked him for his dd’s form tr and class, he didn’t know! had to call his wife. he did know her name of course, haha, but the gen office staff said it is easier for her to locate at once if he knew her class.
at that moment, i was also thinking, whether my dh knew each kid’s form tr and class…
sorry if i don’t have constructive advice, can only share some anecdotes… my kids are overall younger than yours too, so i don’t feel qualified to give advice. -

For his work, maybe identify where are his areas of weakness, for example, if maths, is it carelessness or does not understand certain concepts? For Chinese and English, is it the need build up vocab, etc. I think once you have identify the weakness, you can start to plan how to overcome them.
Not sure what you meant by having problems with him. Sometimes the stress over grades can flow into personal relationship. -

It's a Turbo built-in. Came with the apartment. It does it's job, so no complaints. Once in awhile, the distributor will hold sales of display or scratched models.

Didn't get to bake today...
