May I know how much is MathsHub's package? No intention to send my child but just interested to know how ex because my eyes nearly popped when I saw the fee for parents' training in another thread for Maths Olympiad. :yikes:

Think for the P4, 33 lessons for ~$1575
P5 - 48 lessons for $2430
Each lesson is 1.5 hours.....so it's like ~$48 per lesson......now that I break up into per lesson, :yikes: :sick:[/quote]LOL! I think that's how other parents' justify for super ex. camps too. Look at it as a per hour basis so that the heart will not bleed.

Somehow I am only willing to pay that much or more (per hour) for music lessons (for good teachers of course!). Other than that, I can't. :lol:

No lah no lah.....not so hiong to ask them justify Oni make a casual remark that their fees has increased while paying. Think the lady young lah, probably kena stunned so just use any reason :laugh: But no matter what these centres do, guess they have the upper hand......if dun like it, dun enrol then. :skeptical:

Btw, how did your son find the NMOS paper this time? DS complained difficult. Oh, yah, my 2 kids will be attending the selected class starting this week.......dunno it is better or not, to save me running around, I have opted for Wed so that both attend on same day, same timing.
But weekday would means quite taxing for them.......esp. DS has his W3 till 4pm then gotta go Maths Hub at 6.30pm. But luckily, think the W3 should be ending soon.....

Hi cwc, DS also told me v difficult. He has done 27 out of 30 questions. No one can clear the whole paper ,most of them only clear half the paper. But how many is correctly done by DS then I will not know, ha ha ,just pray hard he had half of them correct.

Ya, v rush for him, his N7 only end at 5.45pm. So we just go directly from school without changing :skeptical: Poor DS so tired but luckily he does not complain :snuggles: as he likes the teacher. His N7 will end on 27 July.
Maybe we can meet up tomorrow nite :celebrate:

My son only managed 25 question, also dunno correct or not. I more greedy, pray ALL 25 correct...whoahahaha.
My :moneyflies: everywhere....xiong. Not just MathsHub, both kids attend the same tuition centre, so cost is double (Berries, Piano, Creative Writing, Mindstretcher - Science). Sometimes, wonder when can stop......wonder if we give them a good foundation, can stop some in Secondary or not...... DS in P5, DD in P4.

Frankly, I won't want to be born in this era.....our time more relax.

Yours also at Bukit Batok? For tomorrow, not sure yet .... FIL in hospital, so not sure what is DH's plan....he may take the car or we may go visit....so cannot commit yet.

Yes, when they reach sec sch they will stop almost all the tuition . My older DS is too busy to go for tuition now, but still force him to continue HMT tuition. This subject cannot stop leh, died died must also continue :nunchuk:

Thanks....FIL - apparently diagnosed with liver cancer but source unknown as doc does not want to continue searching and testing due to his age and health. Discharging soon....now I really stressed :sick: Hope won't drag too long. Know I sound heartless, but having seen my own grandpa lived passed 90 and towards his later stage, hating it and wishing for death to come earlier (no cancer but with pain & deteriorating health/eyesight/ears etc), IMO better to leave w/o suffering & pain.

Hee hee.....NMOS must greedy lah......but still expect the worst
