Wow, Wow. Your DS is GEPer from Tao Nah Pri GEP bicep bilingual stream?
So did your DS apply DSA to other schools? RI? ACSI? DHS? If yes, what is the first choice? -
Edureach:
Yes, Yes. I have no question about the school education programme. My question was what is the best DSA selection process to get the right students into these top schools where the students have more or less some impact to the Nation future.Blur Dad
These two renown institutions namely RI/HCI, provide an all-round hoilistic education for talented individuals and in the process, will continue with their fine tradition of producing leaders in both public and private sectors. As for character building, is still the primarily function of the families and not our schools no matter how highly regarded. -

Every method has its trade off, hence, no such thing as best process. Anw, all these noble qualities which u had outlined tend to be found in the less talented ones. That's my personal experience. -

Just hope that those top schools have a good process to select the right students to the right programme. Not just depend on the result of a 2 hours tough test....If not then some FTs would do a better job.

Hi,
Has any GEPer with less than 80% and taken the GAT gotten a reply from RGS? Getting a little anxious now... since GEPers more than 80% are already taking the interviews.
Thanks. :xedfingers: -

Was told that this is for mainstream pupils. For GEP students it was not like that. Any GEP parents child went thru the interview last yr at HCI? Like to share?NicHei:
Does anybody has information on how HCI conducts their interview? What is the ratio of students to interviewers and the type of questions that will be ask?
is more like a group chit chat session, a few boys from the same school with two / three teachers, very informal, getting-to-know-you type of discussion, the questions have no wrong no right answers, and the answers are of no consequence type......I always joke that the interview session is just to confirm they are not mute and no special arrangement is needed for any special needs -

For mainstreamers, there was GAT last year and before besides math/sc/lang.
