My boy (2.5 yrs old) was coughing 3-4 times per night for last 3 months. He seldom coughed in daytime. We tried different ways. But those do not seem to work. I am thinking of taking him to see a doctor this weekend. Unfortunately we have not identified any ‘good’ doctor in our area (Pioneer). Any good recommendations?

There is a very good doctor in Alexandra Area, but too far from your place. Doctors always advise children not to sleep in air-con room when they have a cough. Does your boy sleep in air-con room?

There's nothing much we can do about dustmite. The doctor advised me to soak the bedsheets, pillowcases in very hot water. I threw away all the soft toys, anything that is furry. I don't even have curtains in the bedroom. Mites like curtains too. Just have one pillow for the child. It's wise to invest in leather sofa, those fabric sofa is a haven for dust mites.

Well there are many products in the market that claim that they can get rid of dust mites. Dont know how true.

i am currently using it. it's not just an air purifier but has mood light functions as well. can use as a night light to get your kids to bed :snooze: or use it to brighten up the atmosphere & your mood during the day

Well~ I am not a mother, but a daughter who used to be coughing heavily and constantly when I was young. My mother often steamed the pear with crystal sugar for me, which is very effective for my cough. You can also use this way to deal with your daughter’s cough. Hope it helps.
Plus, you can fry the egg and let your girl have it in the morning. That is also a common way my mother used for my cough.
                Wish your girl recover soon~~~
                :please:

I bought anti-mite, anti-fungi,anti-bacterial, anti-everything! Don't seem to find any difference. Maybe the manufacturers just put the labels there to impress.

                      Hi hi,

DS started childcare when he is 20 months old. From then, he is literally taking medicine everyday until today. It's been 3 months.

His flu and cough would recover less than a week and a new bout of flu starts again.. Im very worried about the side effects of the western medication. So we brought him to TCM. He is almost recovering while taking TCM medication but he caught a new bug the 4th day he is taking TCM medicine.

Im so desperate and lost 😞 I give him whatever fruits, water, rest and veg. But nothing seem to work.

I would be grateful if you can share with me things that u do to improve your children's immunity. Can tuina help in strengthening immune system?

                      Thanks in advance.

take cod liver oil. It really helps to build up immune system. 😄
