My advice to u is really to send your child to gongshan or a better school elsewhere.
Talk to more of the parents who have children in the school and u will know what I mean.
Do take my advice seriously -
Agree with spunky…

spunky, 0406: Able to share some insight on why is it so? I heard from my colleague that this is a not too bad.

So far my child is okay. I did not do any volunteer work. In actual fact, this school is the alternative choice. Initially, I registered for Poi Ching which is much nearer to my place of residence but not successfully in the balloting. Hence got no other choice than to register here during the Phase 2C(supplementary). -
One of my friend’s friend DD is in this school, this year P1. she told me the school is actually not bad, is improving. i am also in a dilemma, i am staying near tampines North and Gongshang, my DD is going to P1 next yr. currently my DS is in Ngee Ann Pri, every morning, i will drive him to school before i go to work (on the way), but he has to take public bus home himself after school, the journey is pretty long (slightly more than 1 hr). now i wish to put my DD nearer to my house, i wish to enroll her in GS, but i heard need ballot and not easy to get it. Alternative is TN. now i need to find out more abt this school. parents with kids in that school, can kindly feedback more abt the teachers , etc?

Hello all. I just graduated from TNPS, and I feel the teachers are super friendly. The hod for English has very good teaching methods, and the hod for maths is very humorous too. All the teachers may look stern and strict, but they are actually very approachable if you have problems of any kind.
Our school and class spirit is very strong, and everyone mingles with each other. No one is left out.
The school is located right next to Tampines Eco-green, so the teachers can bring their students there for science lessons, making it more fun. The so-called forest next to the school is good too, as the plants will be able to provide fresh air.
Overall, the six years I spent in TNPS were memorable. -
Understand that TNPS received a BAND 1 for the most caring teachers in Singapore for Primary Schools level. Have a colleague son studying in TNPS and was told that as a whole, they are quite a good school. Only it’s not as popular as those branded schools in Tampines.
