I tink it is bcoz all 3 kids slp in 1 room.. I do bedtime story n prayer b4 bed.. tatz y all in bed by 8pm.. so by 830pm i can lights out..

At what age, they stop?

For my case,
BB Boy 22 Months (as of today ) - nap 1 hour each in the morning & afternoon.

DD2, 6 + years old (K2) - nap around an hour every afternoon.

DD1 - only has chance to nap on Sunday afternoon

my dd has no fixed schedule of napping, unfortunately. perhaps it's cos my schedule is different everyday, some days have to go out... no fixed routine, so she just naps as and when she's really tired. she's 17mth now.


both boys (8 and 6yo) don't nap anymore but they kind of dropped their afternoon nap at 4+ and 5 yo respectively.

we make both boys sleep at 8pm. of course sometimes they'd talk to each other and sleep later, but they'll be in darkness in their room by themselves. so i don't really bother since after a while they will drift to sleep.

as SAHM, i cannot have them stay up too late, i will pengsan. at least, after 8pm, the time is mine to finish up chores, and to relax with Dh. only dd may be awake depending on how late her afternoon nap was, but she doesn't understand anything, so me and Dh can still talk about anything we want, or watch a movie or whatever. she is not a nuisance or disruption yet. once she becomes one, then i'll make sure she sleeps early too. kekeke

I get my older one to do his online homework or read books while I put ds2 to bed. Ds3 (baby) will be with me.
