Nespresso Coffee Machine

While staying in a hotel, i got to try out the coffee from the Nepresso machine. I really love the coffee but i am concern over the long term cost needed to purchase the capsules. There are other similar capsule machines on the market and i am thinking if i should consider them instead. Any views from the rest?

Capsules are cheaper in UK/Europe by about $3 per strip.
