Jennifer:
ACS(I) states release of DSA result would be on 28 Aug. I suppose other schools would be around this period as well so that children who had applied for more than 1 DSA and recd offers from > 1 sch could have some time to consider and respond. JMHO
You only need to make your choice (for those with more than 1 offer) after your PSLE. The school will be giving you the option form which you then decide your choice (max. of 3).Ykiasu:
Hi, did anyone who apply under the Academic Domain receive confirmation from RI?
Still waiting too. No news from any school yet!

Hi, I am new. Just want to share with my observation on sport DSA. For tennis, RI only accepts top 4 players in Singapore age group competition. But do remeber that not all top players want to go to RI to โsufferโ. Another top school can not attact top players, so it has lower the requirement. The coach approached almost whole my sonโs primary school team and promise them a place in the school. But few takers as some want to go to the schools strong in Tennis. My son selected RI to apply DSA through maths and this school through maths too. I think sport DSA is that difficult for certain sport as few players.

Hi learningparent and justkp,

It's ok if you don't tell. just kp only.

For NSW to be used in DSA, must it be a high-D at P5? Or How about High-D at P3 or P4 ? Are they considered? -
MdmKS:
I don't think there's any hard and fast rule on this. It varies from school to school and the domain you're applying for. Of course, the more high d you have the better. Include them all in yr dsa portfolio.

MdmKS:
The schools usually ask for results and achievements in P5 & 6, so they would probably hold these in higher regard. But if you have High Distinctions in P4, no harm adding them in as well, especially if they show that you've been consistently achieving High Distinctions.

Hi Mathsparks, Yes. he got a plantinum in smops and high d in nsw. I personally believe that RI DSA is hardest. It is even difficult to be shortlisted.Hi learningparent and justkp,
