Travel: Malaysia - Cherating

Thanks for the advise. I am comfortable in driving up. Just worried about being caught in flooded areas. It seem like I may have to book air tickets. Which airport? Pahang? Just checked firefly website and there is no tickets on the day Iโm suppose to check in. Can only book one day before check in. Meaning I may end up having to book for one more night of accomodation in cherating. sighโฆ

For the small roads leading into Cherating, if there's floods, there might be landslides.
Now's the season to go turtle watching (at night). You can see them come up to shore to lay eggs.

Anyone been to Cherating recently?
Not the Club Med one though.
Whatโs fun there?
Where did you stay?
Is there turtle watching?
Many thanks in advance for sharing! -
