For MGS, there are balloting within 1km for both P2B and P2C. As u r staying within 2km,i think u should find another sch as plan B.Hi mommies can anyone enlighten me on how the balloting process work? I will be in phase 2c and so results will be out on 5 August. Sorry if i am repeating questions already answered, but how do we know the results? Will the school call or send a letter? And if there is balloting, will we know on the same results day?
Am gonna try for MGS but super super slim chance as I am with 1-2km and it also seems there are not many vacancies left! Guess will just see how 2b goes! -
Thank you for all the input but errrr⦠So how do I know if there is balloting? Is it on the same day of the results? Should be,right? (pardon my ignorance, ah!)
ya, I know most likely MGS no hope so plan B is CHIJ OLQP and hopefully I have a higher chance there! -

Call the school on the last day of registration. You will be able to gauge for yourself your chance then. -
Hi, for 2A2 for ex students, I can register tomorrow right? Or only today?

Yes, there are 2 days of registration - no need to go early and queue.

I feel you should be monitoring very closely the stats at end of each day. If there is balloting within 1km, you won't even get a chance to ballot. no point wasting 2C.
If there is balloting 1-2km, there are likely to be very few seats available - eg could be 20 pp vying for 3 places that type; becos those within 1km will all get in, leaving whatever's left for 1-2km.
Then again, keep your hopes up - there's always a chance. Good luck! -

Even 1 km is a slim chance when you have higher applicants then the number of seats available. It lowers the probabilities of getting in using 1km.
