I read in the past RI thead that in RI they also have GEP class and non-GEP classes for the first two years. Only some of those selected mainstream students are put in GEP classes just like in current primary GEP centre now. From yr 3 onward, the different in subject combination will deter which class the students will go. Similarly in HCI, come to sec three they will also have to choose which subjects combination go to their respective elected subject classes. These classes could have pp from ispark or other consortiums.

the difference in RI is that all classes with / without GEP students are taught using the same GEP pedagogy. Class 1 A/ 2A is usually sports DSA class and their timetable takes into account competition schedule. In the words of the RI principal, the whole school runs as a GEP school, instead of just iSpark.

Class 1B / 2B to 1H/2H are without GEPpers, the last 7 classes all the way to 1Q/2Q (there is no class 'N' & 'O') are all GEPpers class with a few non-GEPpers joining them. These non-GEPpers are monitored by some teachers on how they cope with the rest of the class. There is no interference with they are doing just fine ......

Do you know is there any GEPers in other Consortium other then iSpark?

I heard so. If GEPers did not get DSA offer and later got accepted via PSLE result, I am not sure if they could be detacted and be put in ispark.

the principal always maintained that GEPpers whether via DSA or S1 posting will be in iSpark
