Beacon is gaining popularity. It's supported by MOE & IDA. (Meaning they have a lot of fund to support their programmes) It's IT based, they use projectors & pc tablets in class. It's the future school. I heard mommies in some schools targeting it too. I'm one of them. šŸ™‚ But I keep monitoring the TUR closely before making decision. This yr competition will be really tough... because last yr TUR end of phase 1 only 25%, now 48%... and I heard they also overwhelmed w/ the PV...

So... since I can only register on stage 2C... I think I only got slim chance...
Anyone know, what's the 'normal' (medium risk) number of seats available f/ 2C?

i'm within 1km to greenridge and 1 to 2km to Beacon , Just wondering which school is better ?

I'm same like you. We better monitor the seats available until end of phase 2B & do some calculation then decide... šŸ™‚

my friend, a Teacher, told me that Beacon is the future school of tomorrow. She said Beacon is a good school.

Beacon is an IT school, and the 'Future School of Tomorrow', i think it is a slogon for the type of school Beacon's curriculum teaching is based on. parents who look for 'holistic','innovative' etc teaching and don't mind overlooking the uncertainty of how that will translate to academic performance (beacon is a relative new school, no?), beacon should be interesting.
one point to note is that the teachers' proficiency in handling technology for teaching will affect how well students learn. but sure thing is that students will pay attention ah! it must be like games them to them! sounds suitable for my active little boy (but i stay no where near them).

Agree, the first batch only P4 now, no historical PSLE result to rank the sch.
