        Hello!

I was reading the thread and realised that even at Phase 2A2, the queue could be long and someone mentioned that they waited 2hrs just to register. That got me panicking as I am working on a KS parent strategy, ie register in Phase 2A2, and intending to monitor and try for another school at Phase 2B (within 1km).

Will I make it in time to withdraw and apply within the afternoon registration period of 2hrs on Day 2 of Phase 2B given that there could be a long queue at Phase 2B? Any advise from someone who have tried this before?
Hasn't happened in the past but people could be getting more and more kiasu now. To play safe, better not wait til the last minute to withdraw and register. Do it in the early afternoon.

Just an ultra-ks suggestion: Each parent station at one sch, soon after withdrawal, the other parent quickly register at 2nd sch. Sounds workable?

Nope. That is the standard operating procedure as far as kiasu parents are concerned. πŸ˜‰

You only need the original documents for registration, not for withdrawal.

So stressed up...will be eligible for phase 2B for Anderson primary..not sure if there is any chance though...looking at this year's trend..more pple are applying to the school..stressssss

Yes, although we were at Phase 2A, it was pretty scary too, especially when we went on the first day...

Do you live within 1 or 1-2 km from the school? Should be able to gauge based on your distance now...!

This whole registration exercise shows that the Govt had let in too much PR and Foreigner in the past. Given the lower birthrate by Singaporean, this should be lower or relatively stable, but no, we are seeing a crunch in almost every school!!

The rule that give Singaporean priority in balloting only kicks in in the last 2 years, so PR and foreigner whose kids are already in the school will not be affected. In fact, they are able to register their kid in Phase 1.
