Student Care 1
- shower within premise
- No Naptime
- has tuition
- If need Student care to fetch DD, need additional money.
- School Holidays - it will be additional $5 per day + materials cost
- classroom quite cramp
- I went and noticed the teacher just sits at a side and tells the kids to do their homework
- the sch was walking distance to the primary which I came from so dont need bus arrangement
Student Care 2
- No shower within premise i think
- very cramp 1 common area for all primary to mingle with.
- changing area is within the community centre
- No nap
- have to arrange for bus transport , if DD has CCA. monthly stays the same but will need to arrange bus transport for DD for her CCA. additional $$$
- Tuition included. There will be homework from student care as well -

You already checked out EB's student care rate? I think most likely K1 will be home instead of going to BASC. I think he will miss his friends in cc.Student Care in NH @ $240 per mth:

I would choose...2 I asked dh the same question... academic more important or environment?Student Care in NH @ $240 per mth:

We went to 2 centre on Mon.. understand more....
1. Academic - homework everyday.. I know because dh's nephew and niece are there. but we are not too comfortable with the environment.. abit messy and untidy.. food is cooked by a maid.. and simple meal..
2. Environment - Air-con.. caterer food. When we were there, one of the Teachers guided us through the surrounding.. neater, cleaner.. and is cheaper.. but we felt they might not be so academic driven.. as like no Teacher jagar-ing the students...
But we might go ahead with 2.. cos of the environment... not because is cheaper ya.. -
Castle House:
The student cares aren't air-conditioned and nap time. It looks like a scaled down tuition centre but with care facilities. DD's CC are air-con , spacious enough for each level to have their own classroom. own bathrooms, well maintained.
Why and what is it that you are not comfortable with?
What about the standard?
The thought of additional homework from student care is daunting. If DD has CCA, I have to work out the transport arrangement between student care and school. School holiday also need to go student care since it is an on-going arrangement. during school holidays , prefer DDs to go for week long external enrichments or games instead of being confined in student care.
the only student centre which appealed to me was out of the box but they have no transport arrangement ...
my 2 cents.... -

imagine so much playtime, even waterplay. i think my DS will enjoy if send him there.
but likely send to my mum's place, FOC. need to cancel all his SCV cartoon channel if he dun do his hmwork first. -

We did think of enrichment class.. but logistics will be an issue.. who is going to send him there.. and pick him up...
Still thinking and considering..
