Preparing kids for P5 in 2011
-
HI Brenda,
I’ve been going through and writing the answers for Section B (Science) these few weeks…tiring but picked up some stuff along the way esp from some schools…actually this isn’t a a good way to learn but past year Q&A is a quick-fix.
Just to check with you, for P6, is it safe to go through all the questions in past year Q&A and remember the answers this way ? Not spotting but have a feel of what kind of questions to expect. -

Hi Janet
Agree that this is short cut but in view of the constraint of time may be this is one of the method.
Review through the questions and answer key in the past year paper does help the child to recap the concept/key word and get an idea of the answering technique.
I would think so far this is workable for dd as she got 35/40 for SA1 Section B.
The above is just add an additional revision to her school work and recently we also outsource this subject as most of the center (I believe) this time are doing revision for P6 students.
Hope the above information help. -
