Do you know how many students will be selected for the DSA at NJC and what is the ratio of selection at the camp later

Don't know how many will be selected for the camp. But every year they take in around 90 to 100 students via DSA. Not sure if increase. But cohort size is roughly 200(DSA+PSLE S1 posting).

Told DS to choose his best uniform (the one with least stains), comb his hair (something foreign to him, go to school looking like a mad scientist every morning...sigh) and sit up straight during the interview (was glad the nagging works, he said he didnt slouch). It also helped that there was a desk in front of them.

You seems to know MY DS well, describing him to the dot! He seems to have sensitive scalp of some sort, no comb is allowed near him! We decided to visit Bibi-Baba during the June school holiday, not to buy the next year's uniform, but to get a new set of his current school uniform, his present set non of which 出得了厅堂.

I only know this year application is about 700. From what I last heard from friend from previous year, those called for 2nd round are quite likely to get offer.

Thank you for e detailed sharing, hexagon. Looks like all e RI teachers are quite nice. All the best to your DS.

Thanks Paddy Field 😄 . Yes, looks like it. In DS words : \" the interviewers are happy and jolly\" (they were the last group and the teachers were still \"jolly\".. :salute: )

Tks for sharing & I guess the interviewers were Jolly 'cos tt means they can go home soon

My ds' year, there were some 160+ that were in 2nd round. Anyway among those we know, many had WL , a few rejects too. But in the end all got in either via psle or their WL became successful

Emmm.. Their seats are allocated Liao I supposed... The group of 3 took half an hour of interview.

                      All the best

The questions are quite different ...I think based on which teacher is interviewing. did the principal or VP conducts any interview?

Don't know la ... The interviewers are all in the rooms which doors are closed up... But I doubt they do ... Maybe if the p feel like it she will just pop in

Yes u r right can put the DSA thing aside Liao 🕺 .. Good luck to all yet to go for DSA interview !

Now time to wait for results till neck long long liao lol.

No need to stick out neck too early 😂 Based on last year's experience, for GEP domain, RI adhered strictly to the published date for release of DSA results. The CO was in the form of a snail mail, so you really had to look out for postman 😉

HCI was kinder in that an email informing about the DSA result was sent about a week before the actual CO was sent via snail mail.

Also, I had the impression that girls (applying to NYGH/RGS) got to know their DSA results very much earlier than boys (applying to HCI/RI).
