Does any one know whether I can use my DD's immunization record in the health booklet for P1 registration? Thanks
Yes.
But make sure all Jabs was done. Just make sure that your doctor sign on each jabs given to your child on the book. Health booklet is more accurate as you are very sure which jabs you bring your child for it.Right?
Can double check below website too.

Mummyo pls donβt take offence. Am just frustrated that i cannot get my kids into the neighbourhood school. Should thank u for giving up ur place. Good luck to u @ 2B.
I am a former student of IJ Kellock but decided early on not to even try cos it is too far away n didnβt want to subject my girl to a 2hr bus journey.
As parents we just try to do the best we can w this system we have. -

I applaud you for your decision. Many parents do not really bother about the distance and think that since they send their kids to school and not on school bus, it doesn't matter. They forget about the traffic condition, esp on the unpredictable highways and rainy days. The stress and frustration when there are jams on the road. What if it's during exam period? I used to experience this last time. The school had to delay the exam due to the heavy rain that caused the roads leading to school flooded. Lucky it was a school exam, not during the O's. -

Mummyo,
It's the same in all areas. I'm in Clementi and all the good schools around here like Nan Hua, Henry Park, Nanyang, Pei Hwa are also all taken up by former students who live far from here. Then what's left for us? I also enrolled at ATS cos I'm from there but have withdrawn because I feel the travelling will be too much once they move to their holding campus.
Such is the system and we're all trying to work within it, using whatever favourable status we have to enjoy a priority registration.
If parents feel that it's worth it for their children to travel more than an hour to get to school every day then it's up to them. Can only lament why our parents didn't send us to one of these popular schools back in our day.
I share your frustration. I am within 5 mins walking distance to PH and have stay here for more than 10yrs. If can't get in, will need to go elsewhere which is a burden for me. Extra travelling time, extra $$ spent on transport, more naggings to get DS to be faster, less sleeping time. These are really nonsense and give me more stress. I think if this happens, I will end up venting all frustrations on DS.
A relative staying in Bukit Batok sending son to Nanyang. He was relatively worried about traffic condition at first but was asked by many to try first. If really cannot, then withdraw him.
Saw from a newspapers article that Aitong had applicants staying in Jurong and Bukit Batok. IMO, the travelling time can be more than an hour. Why deprive kids in having more rest or revision time, thus adding stress to ownself. -
We ourselves like to choose to work far far away? :siao: If we parents have a choice.... :siam: , my answer is mostly NOPE. Then why make our children suffer then? :scratchhead: :imdrowning:
