oh, i all the time thought Rulang is not a neighborhood school, i thought it was a åę ”, btw, this morning i actually saw Rulang's school bus travel out of 2km skirt (somewhere near Pioneer Mall)

In the past for the parents who did PV or in the earlier phases they might be staying > 2KM skirt so to cater them maybe the bus service is there...

As far as i know, the schoolbus caters to students who lived in west zone ( Jurong East/ West, Toh Guan, Bt Batok, CCK, Jurong West extension). In 2008, I PV-ed with 2 other parents ( and we were selected as PVs ) and our distance was outside of 2KM. We were the lucky ones who got our kids in.... I think they are still a neighbourhood school but the top neighbourhood school in Jurong area.

Rulang is balloting within 1 km. More than 20 applicants are within 1 km.

Nope I did not register as I am > 2 km. No need to register since no chance to ballot. I have submitted my waitlist application form instead. Think I should be no 1 or no 2 on the waitlist now.

There was balloting for 2b for <1 KM last year![/quote]It's the result of the restriction on the number of PVs this yr.

If the take-up rate for Phase 2B for WGPS still remains as it was yesterday then it would be good new for those registering for Phase 2C! :rahrah: :rahrah:

Every year WGPS bounce to have balloting in Phase 2C and it only meant for those within that 1km radius and 1km radius REALLY BIG! - look at the number of HDB flats surrounding WGPS! :faint:
