May I kn wat's wrong with the take up rate for west grove? -

Nope I did not register as I am > 2 km. No need to register since no chance to ballot. I have submitted my waitlist application form instead. Think I should be no 1 or no 2 on the waitlist now.alng:
Rulang is balloting within 1 km. More than 20 applicants are within 1 km.
Did you register today? wish you all the best!
heard from others that the balloting would be on Friday, right? -

There was balloting for 2b for <1 KM last year![/quote]It's the result of the restriction on the number of PVs this yr. -
If the take-up rate for Phase 2B for WGPS still remains as it was yesterday then it would be good new for those registering for Phase 2C! :rahrah: :rahrah:
Every year WGPS bounce to have balloting in Phase 2C and it only meant for those within that 1km radius and 1km radius REALLY BIG! - look at the number of HDB flats surrounding WGPS! :faint: -

maybe also plus those staying nearer to Frontier will want to go there instead..

and last year for WG was really out-of-whack due to unlimited PV acceptance... -

I think West Grove and Jurong West Pri will both be affected cos in the past, all those living around these 2 schools have to compete to enter 2 schools but now there are 3 to choose from (ie Frontier joining in the fray).
So maybe now it is more spread amongst the 3 schools. But established schools will surely still be more popular than a new school, I think. For me, it is purely cos Frontier is so near my place, which makes that a very strong pull factor.
