Can I go and witness the p2B balloting if I did not register my kid for that phase, but I probably will for p2C?

micb:
it is 40 hrs not 50 hrs.Day 1 of Phase 2B :
Phase 2B (after day 1):
within 1 km = 64
between 1 - 2km = 2
outside 2km = 4
Total applicants = 70
Balloting time and date: 22 July (Friday) 2pm
Venue: Lecture Theatre
I don't quite understand why there are so many applications for Phase 2B (day 1 only), where there are only 47 vacancies left. The school know the definite number of PVs.
Likely these are from clan members and GRLs. As we all know, numbers of GRLs can't be estimated, as they are free to choose which school within the zoning to enrol. That can only mean that more clan associated letters are issued than there are vacancies.
Just hope that the PVs get into the school after putting in 50 hours of sweat and time !
All the best to all PVs !
0.5 hrs each time x 2 times a week x 10 weeks per term x 4 terms -

Yah actually it made me wonder too. Maybe these people are not so technology driven???? Same applies to ATS too. Below 1km already must ballot, people still apply under other distance.tankee:

Alternatively, these people probably got no other option and decided to just put their names in as well. Trying luck though it's remote to get anything at all.
That reminds me of an article that my mum read. Someone who used to study in st nic secondary assume that her dd can apply under primary. When she realised it pretty late that she can't, she wrote in to forum to complain. To me, she has no one to blame but herself for not doing her homework.
