      Hi Champion,

I bought the Upper Block FAQ by Janet Sim...like the answers provided. Must get my son to memorize them. Used it and compared to questions in past year exam papers and realized I should have bought the Lower Block as well. Was hesitating whether to do so and forgot that PSLE includes P3/4 😒 and my son is weak in Light energy.

Saw this one by Janet Sim but didn't get it.

        Hi Janet,
:yikes: you have the whole collection of Science Assessment books lioa! :celebrate: :hi5: I will hold on 1st to that lower block by Janet Sim as seen that DD1 is now so busy with NDP performances and those books staring at me instead of her lioa :rotflmao:

Btw, I saw this English Assessment Book - wondering did you get it? Seem like it is only available for P5 & P6

          HI Champion,

I seem to be crazy over Science assessment/guide books...maybe bcos my son doesn't have tuition, so I'm kiasu :moneyflies:
Saw that Casco cloze you uploaded but didn't get it as I have sufficient cloze assessment at home.

School homework seemed to have increased of late, and assessment books are collecting dust on the shelves. Presently, I've 2 Cloze books - one is 'Master Cloze' and the other one is Casco Classroom English Vocabulary/Grammar/Comprehension Cloze.

I only outsource Science tuition and Creative Writing...DD1 is enjoying both classes so for this year think will only stick to these 2 classes.

Errmm...I am most worry about the EL πŸ˜“ πŸ˜“ - all thanks to the Stellar Program (Sorry no prejudice to anyone or the program) but I have to constantly check DD1's EL worksheet to know what she is learning for this subject  .....Then have to check back the assessment books and see which are the related topics that I can focus her on......Sigh, think we parents are acting more like a parent/teacher at home as compare to the school teacher....

Hey, I'm facing the same prob with my daughter's EL too.
Yesterday's hw was on past tense as well as 'or' (connector). So had to indicate on post-it to revise these 2 areas this weekend.

                Hi Champion,

THANK YOU :snuggles: for recommending Science FAQ by Janet Sim.
Bought both, now busy highlighting keywords.
I've also rescheduled son's time-table...one night is for reading up a section on FAQ, another night for past year paper or Longman Weekly.

You are really a very hardworking and hands-on mummy! :celebrate:

I have not been very consistent this term and trying to get the engine re-start again!

Roughly how many hours does your ds spend on studying at home each week?

With cca and enrichment classes, I feel that there's little time left to do assessment books. So much to do yet so little time!

If janetlee_88 say it’s good, then I better go and take a second look.
                        Thanks.
