Hi,Just wondering why there is no balloting for St. Nicholas though the number of applicants is more than the vacancies.

Because out of the 49 applicants, there are 37 who stay within 1km, which coincide with the number of vacancies available. Hence all these 37 get in, no balloting required. The rest all out.

how is the standard of anderson pri? Thinking of trying ai tong but >2km though maybe recommended by clan. Should i give up phase 2A for anderson to try phase 2B to ai tong?

For the last 2 years, aitong balloted under 2B for those staying 1-2km. So if u stay more than 2km from aitong, chances of getting in is quite minimal, even if u qualify under 2B.

I am trying to decide where which is a good school to send my gal to at AMK. Dun think i stand a chance with Anderson pri cos its > 2km from my mum’s place.

debating whether to get a property near anderson pri but property prices are like crazy…

now deciding if townsville is one of the better schools in amk…

Any advice? help!

how abt jingshan? wld think jingshan is better than townsville and AMK pri.


i’m also thinking abt anderson pri for my boy. figured if i do PV i will get a good chance cos i stay within 1km. but i’m also considering nearby catholic schs (so dun hav to do PV but still under phase 2B haha)…catholic high is out of the qn…as will be >2km and definitely no chance…was thinking st gabriels but really not sure abt its performance.
