Duration is 1.5 hours. Rate per hour is $17.5. Comparing with others I think it is one of the more resasonably priced one?

My kid attends the preschool class. not too sure abt the primary school level how relevant is it to singapore syllabus.[/quote]yes. the rate is more or less like that, so not consider steep. it looks steep probably because it is charged per 16lessons. berries is charge per 12lessons.

When in primary level, it is serious work, no fun activities. Fun activities only for K1/K2 level.

I've actually plan to send my daughter to Tien Hsia but too bad still under waiting list at both Jurong Pt / CCK branches for K2. I was hoping I can get a place for her latest by year end before she enters P1 next year.

Any parents has comments about which branch is better in terms of teachers & environment? Thanks..

Hi, my DD childcare engages apple pie. i find the teachers are ok. but my DD still not speaking much chinese even with their weekly classes.

she is able to recite/sing the songs in chinese in apple pie class though. i think if u can let her join the weekly class, it will help in one way or another to expose her to the language i feel

One of my friends recommend jiang education but I find that it is too far from our place. Then I was told Tientsin Hsiang is the second best whereas Berries is more for preschoolers. Any one try out all these centrex and able to do a comparison.

Need some advice - Finally got a call from Berries (DD has been on waiting list) that she has a place for the nursery class. But now I have second thoughts of signing her for enrichment classes cos she is not very receptive, must insist I sit in the class with her.


But DD likes Chinese and enjoys Mandarin songs, read chinese books etc. Her kindergarten also has chinese lessons, and I also coach her chinese at home. So is it still necessary for her to attend enrichment at Berries?

Hi angelight, you can stay in the class with your DD in the nursery class. But that is only for a few classes only, the teacher will advice parent to slowly get out of the class quietly.


Pertaining to clingy kids, you will bound to do it now or later. There is no way out. The earlier you manage this separation anxiety now especially she is still young or handle with "embarassement" when she is older.

All kids are like that in the initial phase. you can slowly start to tell your DD that she is now a big gal now and must be independent.

my advise is take up the class. It Is a good enrichment class for preschoolers.
