Hi Starlight1968sg, I was at the school last Friday picking my DS up, the whiteboard stated 25 names were in ballot ( within 1km ) but 19 was selected. My heart goes out to those parents who had done PV duties but did not managed to get in. -
How about those who join the RC? What’s the chances of getting into RL?

If the GRL is staying within 1km from Rulang then he/she will have the same chance as the PVs (within 1km) to ballot, that's assuming the trend for next year is the same as this year.
Oh, and you have to be serving Jurong GRC, I think. -

It was a definite yes for year 2008 and before. In 2009 and 2010, balloting was for those staying >2km so some still made it through.
Unfortunately, this year balloting only for <1km... :sad:
