      Jennifer:
This set me thinking of this scene: We all sit in a circle, holding hands, channeling our positive energy, chanting \"Pei Hwa! Pei Hwa! Scary's got in!\"
      Jennifer,

Maybe the chanting helps. I am not so kancheong these few days. πŸ™‚

Last year, this boy also told my dd he was grade 8. I didn't think otherwise. However, he took his grade 5 theory exam on the same day as my dd this year. If he claims he was grade 8 last year, I wonder how he attained it without at least a pass in the grade 5 theory? So there, if your ds's classmates completed grade 8 and above, they must be superkids to understand grade 5 theory at such a young age! One way to prove it, get them to play for your ds. Hehe...πŸ˜‰
I posted the same qn at the Music thread. Some piano Ts were saying that it's very rare, though not impossible for a P1 kid to hit grade 8. For that to happen. the kid must be born into a family of musicians.

Sorry to say this, but according to my colleague, the kancheong-ness only happens after the 2 ballot ticket was drawn. She's heavily expecting and she said her baby nearly popped out there and then. :yikes:

i think this chinese teacher might have some problem with my dd. once i write something nicely on her notebook in written chinese regarding dd homework, next day she ask my dd \"why did u tell yr mum all this u should know and hear properly when i teach\"..as a parents and locally born and breed here we always try to encourage to speak and teaches our child in chinese language, i think this chinese teacher might have some thought that we r not local i guess? or my chinese is too bombastic? well it normal for singaporean to be well verse in chinese and english right? it only we bit different we like to verse strongly on chinese with our kids. well i guess no point writing to d form teacher i think she already over d head with this chinese teacher as well.........heard many about this cl teacher think i just let d matter rest and remember d date that she got slap.if happen again im gonna slap her myself to wake her up just like d wp rally said. im quite happy with my daughter chinese result she always at d peak in class kinda of console. best of all she got a doting form teacher on her.

yr dd chinese result is always top in class, then she should be cl teacher's pet ma....why kenna slap? i don't understand....

Actually I have been kancheong for months and couldn't sleep on certain nights. So these few days are already big improvement. However, I believe the kancheong-Ness will set in again next Thursday.

on second thought i just let d matter rest coz might make her day more miserable im telling my daughter just bear for 3 half more mth u wont be seeing her after your next primary term.

I hope and πŸ™ hard my son's FT will not follow up next year...the CRUCIAL year. I'm miserable because she is a teacher whom I can't communicate with...so very unlike the other subject teachers. Dare not email HOD or P either, or my son's next 3 months will be more miserable.

I am so very very scared the present FT follow him up to P6...if she does, I will definitely cry because PSLE is crucial and she is one who isn't communicative (nor friendly)...have been reminding my son to pee before her lessons (in case she doesn't allow him to go loo) and stay low low profile.
