[Bukit Timah] Primary Schools
-
Hi
Thanks all who provided advice. The deterrent is really the distance. And yes, with the GRL advantage, the stakes are raised. -
Aiyo. So complicated. Btw, unwritten rule for HCI and NYPS. There is some "Relationship" between these 2 schools. So boys from NYPS get into HCI at special admission aggregate
-
Can someone offer an insight into bukit timah pri school?
Given that distance is top concern, and the stiff competition in balloting even at p2B, the choice may be between Tao Nan and BTPS in the end. -

Really? -
If u are within 1km of HPPS and RGPS,MGS, got chance no need ballot within 1km. If not, best with Tao nan. I gave up st Hilda for the distance. Now hoping for miracle.

hi ngsc23,
can share more about this special aggregate admission for NYPS boys into HCI ? -
If u check with current NYPS parents they might be able to share more. I hear say hear say. But from very reliable sources. The marks like a bit lower from non related schools. Around maybe 5-10 marks from the outsiders, depending on the year PSLE result.

So has anyone yet to register ? What school will u be going down tomo ? I done my today. Hoping for miracle. Ha ha

Parents with DDs may want to consider SCGS if live not too far from the school. Seems that they still have vacancies.

Really?
Not at all. Both NYPS and HCI principals stated that categorically. No affiliation and no discount.
HCI is trying out a new scheme with a few SAP primary schools to recruit the bilingual talents for DSA - that is true
