      My 2 boys in P3 & P6.

Hi kat, your older boy should be in sec this year. Did he go to nan Chiau high? Is your younger boy in P5 this year? Which class is he in? Maybe he is my boy classmate. My boy is in P5 and my girl will be P1 next year.

My p3 son received a blue form and my p1 daughter received a pink form. My p3 son told me that pink form is an identified student that needs improvement. He went and told his sister to work harder. Not sure what my son said is true or not.

Your son is quite right. My boy is in P5. When he was in P1 to P4, the form teachers will allocate time slot for all the parents regardless of the child's performance or behaviour in school. Parents have to indicate on the reply slip whether they will be attending the session. However, it seems that his form teacher this year will only meet parents of children with performance or behaviour issue. These parents will be given a pink form with time slot on it.

          Wintersoul15:
LSP is a special programme not for e gifted but for pupils with learning needs disability. Some kids are \" switch off\" during lessons, some dun learn n some are slow, maybe cos they started schooling late. Gifted children will only be highlighted in P3. Going for LSP means the teacher identified something not right or suspected something. whether e kid is in LSP will depend on the results.

By the way, P6 parents whose kids are going to e malacca tour might want to note: my Malaysian friend just told me that place Mahkota hotel is \"very dirty\" that's why it's so cheap. luckily, my girl is not going. I do not want to entertain supernatural stuffs.
We have been to mahkota hotel a few times for the past few years. It is not very new and they did not bother to upgrade or renovate the hotel. I guess it is cheap due to the older condition and the lower exchange rate. Not \"dirty\" in that sense. nothing to worry.

            Hi

I understand NCPS is currently operating in partial single-session(P1 & P2 in the afternoon). Does anyone know when the school will move into single-session?

If no disruption, by year 2013.

EL Spelling is once a week, 10 words. From Term 2, besides 10 words, comes with 1 dictation sentence. CL Spelling is about once 2 or 3 weeks. So not that bad.
