sympathise with u MOE shd set a 2~2.5 or 2~3Km cat since they set these 2
1KM and 1~2Km cats in the first place

Some estates are more than 1 KM wide Blk to Blk
So how can half of Telok Blangah Dr / Hgts got no schs within 1 KM except Blangah Rise Because the nearest school is in Sentosa Island!!
and ZhangDe and CHIJ is outside 2KM !!

MOE Shd seriously review this esp. when Priority for Sporeans during the Ballot is makes no sense if PRs within 1KM gets the place first without need to ballot when they will be at an disadvantage???

I agree with you. I’m staying @ Telok Blangah Dr, the nearest school for us will be Blangah Rise (<1km). Follow by Radin Mas & Gan Eng Seng. Blangah Rise is out, Radin Mas too popular so out also, only choice is GESPS.

Not easy getting school for kids now. Sigh, sigh…

U may have try for the better Zhangde or any Schools Over 2KM in town or even Fairfield Methodist so let our MOE knows roving people like with nowhere to go outside 2Km will then go test the patience of people living elsewhere but also out of 2Km of their preferred school??

For me trying for CHIJ is my only good bet since elsewhere even GESPS is too inconvenient as it is within 2Km but really out fo the way compared to CHIJ which is on the way to town at kg Bahru.

Think you just threw ur chance for a better school than GESPS like that.
Anyway i would rather get out somewhere > 2Km than go to Blangah Rise for some obvious reasons not to be mentioned here.

Seem like Blangah Rise all these years the supply is more than demand. Looking at just in Bt Merah, BRPS is the school with the newest facilities where of course Cantonment Primary is the best of now.
