Hi Mummies & Daddies,
I registered my dd for MCS yesterday
think i made the right choice... Anyone else in MCS as well? We actually stay in Woodlands, will make plans to shift nearer to facilitate
-
My dd is going to MCS and also staying at woodlands. But will move to Bishan in Oct…plan ATS, chicken out. What makes you decide MCS as you have to move?
-
We had been thinking of shifting nearer to town even before this, was thinking of KCPPS… But looking at the registered numbers, will difficult to get in as we are out of 2km.
The schs in woodlands are in very fierce balloting situation, i actually stay opp to admiralty pri… in view that we plan to move anyway, we shortlisted Teck Ghee and MCS… after visiting the 2 schs, we feel that MCS seems to fit our little girl better… i have 2 dd (6 & 4) and 1 ds (22mths)… which was why i was considering KCPPS & TG in the beginning. So now need to fret for ds’ pri registration -_-"
jnemummy, where abt in woodlands r u near now? -
Hi mummy meow, I live at woodlands crescent area, my two dds same age as here and living near town is also my reason for moving. Tired of travelling 1hr to work every day. Hope to see u at orientation. Our daughters maybe classmates.

hi jnemummy and Mummy meow,
both of you enter Marymount convent first. Then waitilist at Ai Tong. When there is movement say around P3, then can consider transfer. Don’t give up hope of transfer into Ai Tong. -
phtthp:
I did not apply at ATS at all, will they still accept my waitlist? The wait list could be very long!!. :?hi jnemummy and Mummy meow,

Monday morning, either call up or write in to Ai Tong school, inquire:
a) how to be placed on waitlist, if you din apply via P2C ?
b) does your child need to sit for entrance tests in English, Maths, Chinese to match Ai Tong high standard, for kids on wait list coming in from other primary schools ?
c) if reply to (b) is Yes - ask when does the school normally conduct such entrance proficiency tests ? around June or December ?
d) ask - any other important criteria that the school take into consideration, when accepting transfer cases from other schools ?
eg: excel in which category of Sports, cca, etc ? -
Yes, the Ai Tong waitlist can be very long.
but waitlist not based on first come first serve. -
hihi, do u mean if we wish to be on the waitlist we have to regsiter with the school now? Or we wait till P3 then enquire?
