not sure, got to call up Ai Tong school to check.
-
hi twins closet,
if you like a school very much, the earlier you put yr child’s name down onto the waitlist, the better. dun wait until P3. But call up school first or write in to find out what’s the procedure like. -
Thanks for the advise

each school has certain niche CCAs.
if your child can excel, can stand out from the rest, academic results quite good, and he has something that the school desires … then the transfer becomes easier, even if the request for transfer applications pile up high like a mountain heap. -

Hi mummy meow, I live at woodlands crescent area, my two dds same age as here and living near town is also my reason for moving. Tired of travelling 1hr to work every day. Hope to see u at orientation. Our daughters maybe classmates.
jnemummy, i m staying near wdl cres too.. my gal attends cc at Care Corner. Urs? U mentioned 2 dds.. Twins? My eldest girl is 6, my 2nd girl is 4 and my youngest boy is 2. So after this round of registration, i will have to go thru the same thing for my boy in 2015 :nailbite: -

I asked briefly before as I am also a AT casualty.Monday morning, either call up or write in to Ai Tong school, inquire:
a) how to be placed on waitlist, if you din apply via P2C ?
b) does your child need to sit for entrance tests in English, Maths, Chinese to match Ai Tong high standard, for kids on wait list coming in from other primary schools ?
c) if reply to (b) is Yes - ask when does the school normally conduct such entrance proficiency tests ? around June or December ?
d) ask - any other important criteria that the school take into consideration, when accepting transfer cases from other schools ?
eg: excel in which category of Sports, cca, etc ?
Am told that they will look primarily at results. Can apply for transfer from 29/8/2011 online - see AT's webside. Was also told that very difficult to get transfer in the 1st 2 years. -

Hi phtthp,hi jnemummy and Mummy meow,
both of you enter Marymount convent first. Then waitilist at Ai Tong. When there is movement say around P3, then can consider transfer. Don't give up hope of transfer into Ai Tong.
Thanks for the info... However, i m not looking at Ai Tong, i was more keen on KCPPS. Unlikely to do any transfer of school as we do like the vibes at MCS from what we saw..
