It's ridiculous that for the whole week we are doing nothing but just learning 听写 and EL spelling. Mon/Tue learn 听写...Wed/Thur learn spelling.

Wow... Your spelling and tingxie list are very long izzit...

Allow me to explain how school gives ting xie.
*Must learn to write 8-10 Chinese characters
      *3 hanyu pinyin to learn
*10 ci yu to explain how to fill in the blanks.

I split the 'must learn to write' characters to 2 days...as for the 10 ci yu, I just explain the meanings on Tue night. As for spelling, I also split into 2 days because there are certain words in the sentences she doesn't know.

my friend say Jiang Education Centre (Fu Lu Shou) is good.

Chinese enrichment only start from K1, not N2.

fees around $460 (20 lessons, approx. 5 months).
        duration: 1.5 hrs

based on this yr is every Friday 6.30 pm.

new timetable for next yr 2012, coming out soon in October.
        maximum: 14 kids per class.

I also heard alot of good reviews on Jiang, thats why i register my DD in.
Cross my finger that its going to help her.

            ($460 / 20) = $23 per lesson.

            not ex, also not cheap.
Jiang lao shi is been proven solid for many years, teaching standard is there. Go ahead!

agree, know what you mean. It’s the location, environment like quite ‘complicated’.

but once kid enters class, they’re oblivious to surrounding.

we parents can go downstairs coffee shop buy a cup of coffee, sip slowly, wait for kid’s lesson to end. But downstairs there’s nothing much to shop around.
